Cheerful Tuesday #6

Here is this week's installment of Things That Make Me Smile
047. Leopard print nails. This is my right hand and it went a bit smudgy when I put my topcoat on :(
Before I did cleanup - whoops!
048. Packing. I know I'm meant to hate packing but it means going away - or, in this case, home.
I never know what to take though...
049. Getting post! I've been lucky enough to get a few things in the mail recently, including... (see 050)
My lovely prize off Lyzi :)
050. This book, which I highly recommend. It's hilarious and I've been texting lines from it to everyone. My favourite quotation so far is EITHER,
"All men dream of having a shed. Even men who do not have a literal shed will construct a metaphorical one," (which reminded me so much of my Dad that I had to send it to my mam, immediately),
OR, "'The Feminist agenda is not about equal rights for women. It is a socialist, anti-family, political movement that encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism and become lesbians' - Rev. Pat Robertson" (sent to my housemate, who has an outspoken hatred of feminism which amuses me hugely. He appreciated it.)

051. Making soup. And eating soup. Nothing quite like homemade veggie soup. Mmm.
Also, it's great with cheese in. I know I sound crazy.
052. To Write Love On Her Arms. They're an American non-profit organisation helping people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide. I can't think of much that means more to me - this is why I have my tattoo. Check out their website here.

053. Hayley Williams. There's nothing more that needs to be said!

054. Unexpected cups of tea made by housemates who are feeling guilty about giving your their ILLNESS. As well he might. This cold is evil.
054. Pinterest. New sudden addiction. Follow me here if you like!
055. Highland Cows. Cows but fluffy. Win. I especially love babies, they look like teddy bears ^.^
056. Pin-ups.
057. Bats. They're little and upside-down and furry and SO CUTE.

058. Ladybirds. Seriously, how much more cheerful can you get?!

059. Ice lollies. Even in the Great British Summer, there's something intrinsically happy about ice lollies, don't you think?
