Blusher Collection

My nail polish collection post was one of the most popular posts I've ever done in terms of views, so I thought I'd do a few more of these posts; today, we have blusher. I'm afraid my blusher collection is nowhere near as extensive as my nail polish, I only actually started using blusher about a year ago, but these are what I have. Let me know if there's anything else you'd like to see collection posts on!

This is the first blusher I ever purchased, cheap and cheerful. I never really read much about Miss Sporty but I have a few things from the line and I've always been happy with the quality. This gives a lovely natural flush.

Revlon Matte Powder Blush 001 'Rose Rapture'
I bought this from a blog sale although I forget whose now. It's now nearly empty as you can see, definitely my most used blusher. I really like the little pop-out mirror which makes it handy for applying on the go. I love the shade but can't find it on the Boots or Superdrug websites, I fear it may have been discontinued.

MUA Shade 2
This shade from MUA is really pigmented, you only need the tiniest sweep of a brush or you will very easily end up looking like a sunburnt clown. I think this'll look better with a bit of a tan, it's a bit bright for me at the moment with my pale pale skin.

NARS Deep Throat
My first (and only!) NARS purchase. I am in LOVE with this, it's such a wearable shade, really subtle but really pretty. Yes it's expensive but I honestly feel it's worth it for the quality you get.

ELF 'Innocence'
This ELF blusher is a lovely pale pink, great with my pale skin and perfect for the slightest flush of colour. It's fairly buildable if you want a bit more colour but I think you'd struggle to go over-the-top with it!

1: Miss Sporty, 2: Revlon, 3: MUA, 4: NARS, 5: ELF.
And that is the extent of my blusher collection so far! I really want to try some of the TopShop cream blushers, I've heard good things about them, but the TopShop near me stocks a poor range of make-up (consisting, last time I checked, of two shades of nail polish and not much else).
What's your all-time favourite blusher?

  1. I love the NARS blush, wanted it for SO long! If work goes well tonight and I earn enough I might pop to Meadowhall tomorrow and treat myself! I'm really pale, but peachy pink shades seem to suit me more than just pink, as I look a bit sunburnt :-(
I've tried a TopShop blush before, in Neon Rose. Loved how bright it was in the pan but it was too intense for me when I applied it! You need a really light hand!
