Having passed my driving test in February, I've started driving to work, meaning I no longer have an inordinate amount of time to kill each week hanging round in town waiting for buses. This has given me around three more hours in the day which is brilliant, and has also been saving me a small fortune in impulse purchases! However, a couple of days recently my mum's car (which she's kindly been lending me whilst I wait for my own car to be mended) has been otherwise occupied, meaning I've been back on the bus - and back into my old habits! I actually did need a few bits when I popped into Boots & Superdrug (okay, two things. I needed conditioner and dry shampoo) but ended up picking up a fair few other things too...

First of all, in Boots, I picked up the conditioner I'd gone in for; with a 3 for 2 offer on haircare, it would have been silly not to stock up, right?! I really like Naked's products and it's been a while since I've used them regularly, but having recently stocked up on my favourite shampoo of theirs, it seemed like a good time to reintroduce their conditioners as well.

Next up, I took the opportunity to replace my beloved
Soap & Glory Kick Ass Concealer, and with another 3 for 2 offer on their make-up, I also added One Heck Of A Blot to my basket, having read some great reviews. Thick & Fast is one of my favourite mascaras, so I decided it was about time to try the Collagen version...

With a third off Nip + Fab, I popped a back-up tube of the wonderful
Glycolic Scrub Fix into my basket, alongside the L'Oreal Infallible 24-Hour Matte Foundation which I've been wanting to try for a while. I also grabbed a jar of Collection's Loose Powder as I've been struggling to find it anywhere else and it's one of the best I've found in its price range.

And then to Superdrug, where I picked up a couple of cans of COLAB dry shampoo; I much prefer this to Batiste as it actually leaves my hair feeling fresh and clean, rather than coated in product, and with the added bonus of not leaving that horrible white residue everywhere. I went for one can each of New York, which is described as a fruity fragrance, and Rio, which is a tropical fragrance. I really want to try the new Monaco variant but they didn't have it so that'll have to wait!

Finally, in case some kind of foundation shortage is to occur, I picked up another tube of
GOSH X-Ceptional Wear Foundation, which is one of my favourites. I then spotted the new Makeup Revolution stand which has arrived in my local Superdrug since I was last in - and decided to treat myself to the Beyond Flawless palette. I absolutely did not need any more nude eyeshadow palettes but anyway, here it is, and I'll have a post coming soon on that so keep your eyes peeled if you like the look of it!
So, I set out to buy two things and ended up spending in excess of £60... Whoops! Still, I'm nicely stocked up for a while now, and you can expect to see a few of these on the blog over the coming weeks and months. Have you bought anything nice recently? Have you tried any of these products?
