• Get a full-time, paid Assistant Psychologist job. Again, unfortunately I'm still working on this; I've had a fair few interviews and my feedback has been good but each time, there's been someone with more relevant experience than me, which is annoying but I can't really argue with it! On the bright side, I'm just waiting for confirmation of a start date of a one day a week paid Assistant Psych role which has come about through some voluntary work I do, so I am super excited about that! Small steps.
• Improve my decision-making skills. I don't want to say this is an outright failure, but... Well, I've just started seeing a new guy and he already thinks the most hilarious thing in the world is making me make decisions, so... Clearly, this one needs some more work!
• Read 50 new books. Sadly I am nowhere near completing this one; since I've been driving to work rather than spending three hours a day on the bus, I don't seem to be reading nearly as much! I have read a few good books, however, and I'll be sharing some of my favourites in the next couple of days.
All in all, I'm disappointed that I didn't manage to achieve all my goals, but still proud of the ones I did achieve, and of the progress I've made with the rest of them. I'll definitely be carrying a few of these over into 2016 so hopefully this will be the year! Did you have any specific goals for the year? How did you get on with them?
