I don't know what it is but recently, I've been struggling with eczema on my eyelids, despite never having had a problem with it on my face before. My usually oily eyelids were becoming flaky and, aside from not looking very nice, it was bloomin' sore too! So you can understand why I was keen to clear up those little patches of eczema. This is where Balance Me's Wonder Eye Cream came in; a miniature-sized tube which I believe came as a magazine freebie, the Wonder Eye Cream claims to, "Help revitalise weary eyes, smooth away dark shadows, and reduce the visible appearance of fine lines."
The full-sized product comes in a pump-action bottle, but the miniature version I have is in a squeezy plastic tube with a screw-cap and a thin nozzle, which means that as long as you're careful you don't get too much product at once. The white cream is thicker in texture than I anticipated, somehow, and has a slight scent of lavender which doesn't linger on the skin. A small amount of product is all that's needed to tap gently around the eye area (under the brow and along the eye socket); I've been using this tube daily for around a month and I've still got plenty left.
99% natural, Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream features key ingredients including Cucumber Oil to refresh the eye area and disguise signs of fatigue; Hyaluronic Acid to help prevent premature ageing by intensely hydrating; Virgin Coconut Oil to create a smooth, hydrated eye area all day long, and Arctic Cloudberry to plump and reduce fine lines and crow's feet. I've found that my eye area feels less dry and tight immediately after using, and I do think my dark circles have been reduced (though definitely not eradicated entirely!); I don't yet have crow's feet but the beginnings of the fine lines below my eyes also seem visibly plumped and generally more hydrated. I really do feel like this eye cream has worked well for me and lived up to its claims!
I'm often dubious of the claims eye creams make but this product really has helped to hydrate my eye area, as well as lessening dark circles and plumping up the fine lines beneath my eyes. I've been really pleased with the effects I've seen and whilst I don't tend to purchase eye creams as samples are so readily available, this one has worked so well for me that I'm seriously considering buying the full-sized product. Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream is priced at £20 for 15ml of product, available from Debenhams here or direct from Balance Me here. What's your favourite eye cream?
