Packaged in a plastic jar with a screw cap, the branding is really pretty - unfortunately, though, the first time I took it in the shower with me, the paper labels started to disintegrate. I suppose it would be okay to use in the bath as it wouldn't be getting wet in the same way, but I'm not really a bath person; I do think this would be improved with some different labelling so the jar stays pretty!
The scrub itself consists of powdered Walnut shell in a creamy base; I've been using this mostly on my arms and legs, concentrating on my elbows and knees as I find that's where dry skin tends to occur the most. I have found myself using quite a lot of product each time I reach for this scrub, which is a shame as it won't last quite as well as I'd hoped. That aside, it does feel lovely on the skin, has a really nice, delicate scent (although it's less citrussy than I would have ideally liked!) and leaves my limbs feeling softer and smoother.
Sweet Cecily's Citrus & Walnut Body Scrub is priced at £9.95 for 100ml, available direct from Sweet Cecily's here; I do think it's a little pricey for how much product you get, and how much I've been using per application, but then again I also think it's worth paying a little more to support small British brands. It's also a really lovely product with skin-friendly ingredients, which makes it worth the spend in my opinion.
I've previously posted about Sweet Cecily's Elderflower & Almond Hand Cream* which I was sent last year, which is equally gorgeous! Have you tried anything from Sweet Cecily's? Do you like the sound of this Citrus & Walnut Body Scrub?
