I was recently offered the opportunity to try some eczema-friendly products from Forever Living, one of which was this Aloe Bath Gelée; I was vaguely familiar with Forever Living and have previously used their Marine Face Mask, so I was keen to see what else they had to offer. I've spoken before at length about my struggles with eczema, and I'm always interested to add to my repertoire of products that agree with my skin. Backed with a 60-day money-back guarantee if you're not impressed, I had high hopes for Forever Living!
I should point out here and now that I don't actually have a bath so unfortunately I've not been able to use this for its intended purpose - I've been using it as a body wash/shower gel instead. At first glance I quite like the packaging, which looks a little bit fancy on the shelf in the bathroom with its shiny silver cap. This isn't one to travel with, though - the cap did leak a little in my gym bag despite being screwed on tightly, so this a product I'll be using purely at home. I don't think that's a major flaw as obviously this isn't intended as a product you'll be throwing in your bag willy-nilly!
The gelée is bright green in colour and has (as you might except) a thick, jelly-like texture; it foams up readily despite being SLS-free and has a lovely soft lather which feels really nice on the skin. It hasn't caused me any irritation, it just leaves my skin feeling clean and soft! Forever Living's Aloe Bath Gelée is priced at £14.47 for 251ml direct from James at Forever Living here (does anyone else kind of wish they'd just made it 250ml?) which I think is quite reasonable considering how little product you need per use - more so if you were using it for its intended purpose in the bath, rather than as a shower gel/body wash, I suspect! Have you ever tried Forever Living products?
