Hello July!

Here we are, into July, when with any luck we'll have a bit more sunshine and won't have to complain too much about the British summer! I've not actually got a lot planned this month, although I will hopefully be starting my new job within the next week or so - until then, I'm doing a few more shifts at my old job, where I'm going to stay on as a casual staff member for a few months to see how things go. As per tradition, I'm setting myself a few goals for the month, so let's see what I'm hoping to achieve...
Hello-July-
Run at least twice a week. With Total Warrior coming up at the start of next month, I really need to get my running fitness back and up my mileage a little! My ankle still isn't 100% after injuring it back in May, but it seems to be fine running - it's more bending and twisting it that hurts. I'm hoping to be able to run five miles by the end of the month, so we'll see how this one goes!
See friends at least twice. This is a recurring goal for me, as it really encourages me to make the effort to spend a bit of time with the people who are important to me! I'm not sure how much free time I'm going to have this month, what with the new job starting and trying to get into a routine with that, but hopefully I can fit in at least two meet-ups with friends.
Finish the month at least £600 from the bottom of my overdraft. This is quite an ambitious goal but I really need to tighten the belt, so to speak, as my car insurance is due in August, which is going to be a significant expense! June payday was quite good as I got paid for the bank holidays I worked in May, so hopefully with a bit of effort I can achieve this one.
Carry on clearing out in my bedroom. I had a good clear-out of my wardrobe and drawers last month, but in July I'm hoping to address all the crap on top of my wardrobe, as well as having a sort through my books and tidying them up a bit. I just have so much stuff and I can't possibly need it all!
Reach 3k followers on Twitter and 1k on Instagram. These are kind of arbitrary goals but I've been pretty proud of my growth on these platforms lately, so I'd like to see if I can have a bit of a push to reach these targets! At the end of June I was at 2882 on Twitter and 833 on Instagram, so hopefully I can grow them a little during July. If you're not already following on Twitter and Instagram, feel free to check them out!

Aren't my tulips gorgeous?! They were part of my leaving gift from my voluntary job and they've been beautiful ♥
Don't forget to have a quick peek at how I got on with June's goals here! Do you have anything planned for July? I'd love to hear what you're going to be up to and what you're hoping to achieve!

  32. Hi Jess! I'm so nosey, I absolutely love reading about other people's goals - I think helps me get ideas of what I want to do :) a definite one for me would be making sure I see my friends more, as I always seem to be busy and then let it slide, and that makes me sad! Must try harder.

Fab post, and your flowers are gorgeous :D
