"Our cationic shave cream is gently charged with positive ions that make your hairs stand on end, giving you the smoothest, closest shave ever. Ain't that the cat's pyjamas."

With ingredients including Coconut Oil, Sweet Almond Oil and Sweet Orange Oil, I can see why the Friction Free Shave Cream smells as good as it does! I find I need a good-sized dollop of the cream to cover each leg, meaning the tube isn't going to last as long as I'd hoped - so I do think £6 is quite expensive. However, it does give a really nice shave and leaves my legs feeling super-soft and smooth afterwards, with far less irritation or itchiness than I'm used to after shaving, so there's no complaints from me!
My one bugbear is that I don't seem to be able to order the Shave Cream separately - apparently I have to have the blades as well, so if I find that I'm not keen on the Frankie blades either, then I'm not sure what I'll do. I'd like to be able to just buy the Shave Cream as a one-off purchase without necessarily having to have the blades, too. What do you think? Would you try the Friction Free Shave Cream? Have you used their razors? If not you can set up your subscription here!

Oh my gosh, I am jealous. I never seem to be able to get that super soft feeling anymore!
ReplyDeleteI do however find mens razors are far better than womens!
I do fancy trying that cream now though!
I hate the itchiness of shaving but find it the best for hair removal. Waxing means being hairy for a bit, can't afford to laser and removal cream smells and doesn't necessarily take it all off! I agree with the above comment of mens razors being better x
ReplyDeleteI think you are right and you should just be able to buy the shave cream alone and not be forced into the razors as well. You make me realise how lazy I have got, I cant remember the last time I bought some shave cream! whoops Mich x
ReplyDeleteSounds like a super subscription service. You should be able to get the products separately though, I agree.
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of this service before but im intrigued! The cream sounds interesting and definitely something I would love to give a try! My legs always seem to be stubbly again by the next day and can often by quite itchy and sore!
ReplyDeleteI have not seen a subscription for razors before - I am not sure I would use it but the shave cream sounds lovely. Kaz x
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a great product and a great service - shame you cannot order separately though
ReplyDeleteShaving is my go to choice because I sometimes have allergic reactions to removal creams and I'm a big baby when it comes to waxing! This looks really good :)
ReplyDeleteI shave most of the time. I will like to try this.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds lovely! I must admit I've never wet shaved my legs (only electric) because I'm scared of cutting myself!
ReplyDeletei use electronic as blades scares me but this sounds lovely if i ever get brave enough.
