Though oily, my skin is decidedly prone to dehydration, so I was excited to see what this mask had to offer! "A moisturising Korean face mask with extracts of Manuka honey to nourish, hydrate and moisturise the skin. Inspired by Korean innovation, a triple layer sheet technology designed to enhance the moisture content within the mask and lead to an increased absorption rate within the skin."
I really love the packaging of the mask, the imagery on it is gorgeous and the sachet is easy to open. I found that the mask was easy enough to unfold, but that it didn't fit very well to my face somehow - there was too much fabric in some places, meaning I had to double it up to keep it in contact with my skin, and in other places there wasn't enough fabric so it didn't quite sit right. Overall I found it quite difficult to get the whole mask in place.

Vitamasques Manuka Honey Hydrating & Moisturising Masks are available from LookFantastic, priced at £3.99 for one, or £12.99 for four. You can check out the whole Vitamasques range here! Despite the problems with getting it to stick to my face, and the fact of it smelling a bit like vodka, I'd definitely consider repurchasing this mask for the results I saw in my skin.

I need to buy some masks. My skin is super oily. The price for this one doesn't sound bad and it sounds like the results were great too.
ReplyDeleteKorean skincare seems popular at the moment! I like the sound of a honey mask x
ReplyDeleteI love Manuka and this looks really good!
ReplyDeleteMy skin is definitely struggling in this weather so something like these would be perfect, despite the alcoholic smell, not a bad price either :)
ReplyDeleteThis sounded really good, until I heard about the alchohol. It would SO dehydrate my skin. Saying that those, your skin was good after! Hmmm. xx
ReplyDeleteThis sounds great - I have really oily skin and would love to try it. Kaz x
ReplyDeleteI really liked mine too! I love sheet masks and anything honey based xx

I haven't tried sheet masks before only the ones that come in tubes. I find they can be better value for money in many cases.
ReplyDeleteProducts that contain manuka honey always get my attention, as it's from my lovely homeland! Growing up as a kid we were always told about its natural antiseptic properties, so it makes sense that it would be a great face mask ingredient. x
