
• See friends at least twice. Standard monthly goal! I don't know about anyone else but I find that, especially now I'm older, life can just get so busy that I suddenly realise weeks have passed without me seeing anyone - it's not good!
• Finish the two books I'm reading. I was meant to finish one of these in January but didn't really commit to either one, so I read a bit more of both but didn't finish either... Which is shameful to say I used to read about a book a day at school. So I'm going to finish them both in February!
• Start practising for selection tests/interviews. One of the courses I've applied for uses a selection test to choose applicants to interview, so I need to get practising on those! I won't find out til mid-March whether I've got any interviews, but I figure it's never too soon to start preparing just in case.
• Sort my diet out. I planned to do this in January but ended up getting side-tracked with giving up caffeine instead... So it's time to give it another go! I need to stop eating my way through share-sized bags of chocolate buttons on a daily basis, for a start. I'm thinking less white bread (I've actually been taking salads instead of sandwiches to work for dinner so that's a good start right!?), less sweets and cake, and more vegetables.

I seriously can't believe that the first month of 2017 is already over! I also would love to finish two books this month as I have not been reading a lot lately :)

ReplyDeleteSeeing friends is a lovely goal. I think some people get too caught up with fitness or diet related goals and don't think about other things that make them happy.

ReplyDeleteI can't believe it's February already! I love your goals, they're all really achievable. I've been setting myself smaller goals each month and it seems to be working, making a point to see friends more often is always on my list too!
